Bruges is a beautiful place to stay. It is a charming, small, picturesque medieval city that really leaves an impression on you.
In a city you don’t know, you often end up in places where everyone else ends up. That is why I would like to share some ‘hidden’ places with you where you can enjoy nature without having to share it with large numbers of tourists.
Places where you can have some valuable me-time, take a nice walk, read a book, meet up with a friend a loved one or even have a lovely picknick.
Most of the parks or places I am going to show you in the videos can be reached by bike or on foot.
In the centre of Bruges you do not really need a bike, it is certainly feasible to explore the center of Bruges on foot, by boat or by horse carriage (as you can see in one of the videos of my colleagues).
But when you want to explore the surrounding parks or countryside, a bike can come in handy. Especially since 80% of the roads are accessible to cyclists in two directions.
